I was trying to connect to my new Arduino UNO WiFi R3 to my WiFi network in home and had to spend big amount of time in searching of errors like Can't communicate with programmer!; programmer is not responding; WiFi shield not present OR cc.arduino.plugins.unowifi.UpdaterImpl$2.run(UpdaterImpl.java:112)
All this spent time because the integrated in the IDE 1.8.4 WiFi101 Firmware updater is not working with this Arduino… finally thanks to the guy who wrote this article I have managed to UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE, took 10+ minutes on the second try because the first try stuck at 0x03fc point for about an hour and had to restart O_o
